Tortillas as Finger Food
Are there guests coming to your house and you don’t know what to offer them? Or are you going to give a celebration? Try the following irresistible canapes the preparation of which is simple but a little lengthy (creation of the tortillas takes about an hour). The result is, however, definitely worth it!
Ingredients
- whole-wheat tortilla
- curd cheese
- spices
- ham
- cheese
- spinach / lettuce / cucumber
You will also need a plastic film.
Preparation
First, prepare curd cheese. You can mix it with spices such as garlic, onion, herbs or chili – simply according to your taste and to make it taste a little stronger.
Prepare all the ingredients on a table. If frozen, warm the tortilla to the room temperature. Spread curd cheese properly on the tortilla and continue with a layer of cheese, a layer of ham and vegetables (lettuce, spinach or cucumber sliced into thin wheels). Roll firmly and tighten the roll using a plastic film. Then put the roll in the refrigerator.
It is very important to leave these tortillas in the fridge for at least 24 hours so that the individual layers stick to each other and don’t fall into pieces after slicing. Then, after at least the 24 hours, cut the tortilla rolls into thin wheels and lay them out for serving.
