Bosu – Body core strengthening and back pain relief

Why are Bosu and other balancing aids becoming more and more popular? I got to love them as wonderful tools for functional training, which is a kind of workout involving more muscle parts at once and strengthening your body using your own weight.

Bosu – Body core strengthening and back pain relief

The purpose of using balance aids is to make the central part of your body stronger, which is called “core training”. Basic goals of this training include strengthening of your deep stabilization system, developing your muscle coordination and eliminating muscle imbalances. Balancing supports the development of both your static and dynamic balance capabilities and can be perceived as strengthening using your own or added weight.

The benefits of Bosu exercises include:

  • strengthening all your body parts
  • great help with strengthening your muscles and tendons
  • better coordination of your body and posture
  • prevention of neck and back muscles pain
  • fat reduction
  • strengthening your heart
  • great help with elimination of stress and muscle tension

I think there are a lot of reasons to strengthen the deep stabilization system. So stop postponing balancing exercises. My clients confirm they felt really better after this kind of training.
