Fitness Flapjacks

Fitness Flapjacks

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 banana
  • 2.5 spoons of protein
  • 2 spoons of honey*
  • 1 spoon of coconut oil*

* Honey and coconut oil can be replaced with peanut butter, or peanut butter may be used as the third component of this liquid mixture.

Preparation:

Pour rolled oats and protein in a larger bowl and crush the banana using a fork in a next bowl. Put honey and coconut oil (or peanut butter, if necessary) in a small pot and heat so that it turns into a single mass.

Mix the oats-protein mixture with the crushed banana and the honey-coconut oil mixture together, pour into a pan and bake at 180 °C for approximately 10 to 20 minutes depending on size.

Tip: In addition to this basic form of fitness bar, you can add chia seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, raisins, grated coconut, walnuts and so on. In short, whatever you like. This way you can create different “flavours”.
